Quantitative Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and validate quantitative models and trading strategies across asset classes, with a focus on signal generation, portfolio construction, and risk management
  • Build and maintain statistical models of the financial markets in a real-time environment, translating research into robust, production-ready implementations
  • Analyse large financial datasets to identify patterns, test hypotheses, and support investment and risk decisions

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • A degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, financial engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • An outstanding academic record
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and programming skills
  • Experience in Python and its scientific stack (e.g. NumPy, pandas, scikit- learn); familiarity with C/C++ in a Linux/Unix environment a plus
  • Experience with large datasets, time-series analysis, and statistical or machine-learning modelling
  • Knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and trading algorithms (considered a plus in some positions)

The base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $200,000. In addition to
base salary, total compensation includes a discretionary bonus.
