Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, production-grade software and services across the full development lifecycle
- Translate requirements into well-architected solutions, writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features, optimise performance, and improve system reliability in a real-time environment
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and the continuous improvement of engineering practices and tooling
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong track record of designing and shipping production software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Go, or C/C++, ideally in a Linux/Unix environment
- Experience with distributed systems, databases, version control, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of low-latency, high-throughput, or real-time systems (considered a plus in some positions)
The base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $200,000. In addition to
base salary, total compensation includes a discretionary bonus.
